A refreshing change from normal bullet hell games. You can't steer, your only defense is to shoot down the missiles, planes, and boats attacking you.

The best choose your own adventure I've played - the choices feel important and engaging, and there are enough features that it doesn't feel like a book

For me this game fell somewhere between Legend of Grimrock and Legend of Grimrock 2 - not quite as good as the open-world of the second game, but Vaporum's voice acting made it more of an engaging experience than the original Grimrock.

A really enjoyable first-person puzzle game, with unique challenges and an attractive environment.

You may need a game guide now and then, because the island is expansive, but the majority of the puzzles can be solved by logic rather than guesswork. The exceptions are ones where you may not realize a game mechanic is possible.

Solid, though the ships aren't really balanced and you have to play/lose repeatedly to unlock new ships before you have any shot at winning.

Simple yet elegant gameplay. This is a great example of how to make a game engaging but super accessible.

A survival card game with an interesting concept, but the flawed mechanics make winning more luck than skill-based.

Slow but solid gameplay, though there are some major balance/difficulty issues - and to counteract those you need to grind quite a bit. The graphics are similar to a space RTS, though you have far less units than a normal RTS.

Third-person shooter MMO with odd aiming and repetitive missions. The teams are often completely unbalanced and the mission goals sometimes are as well. Turtling many times wins the match.

Simple, but enjoyable. I find the enemies more distracting than fun - but love the collecting aspect of the game. It reminds me of the gameplay from N64 titles like

Decent mechanics but disgusting theme. Enemies can shoot diagonally, you can't. The bad hit-boxes on arrows are frustrating, making yours regularly miss enemies and allowing enemies to occasionally hit you through walls. Made with Flash, low res.

An interesting mix of music and gaming - enemies generated by songs. Disappointing that they charge extra for multiplayer (DLC - BH Ultra).

The survival mode is fun co-op but it has huge flaws - can't join mid-game, and people who disconnect can't rejoin. You also can't heal - have to suicide while your friends kite. There's also a huge disparity in the usefulness of the guns.

This slick looking puzzle game is simple, but enjoyable. As the game progresses you unlock six special abilities and more complex puzzles to go with them. Aside from the simple 'normal' puzzles, there are also 'hard' and 'bonus' levels.

Reminds me a little of Crayon Physics Deluxe - though the AI of the bugs you're transporting is poor at times. They really shouldn't hop constantly, it makes it difficult to extract them from tight spaces. Other than that, a decent puzzle to pass some time.

Why use Truth In Gaming?
Unique Search
Multiplayer with friends
Want to play a multiplayer or co-op game with friends, but don't know which ones you have in common? Friend search will instantly show which games everyone in the group already owns - and even filter them further by genre!
Play your games
Have a big game library, but can't find anything to play? You can limit your searches to just the games you own, while still using all the fancy search filters.
Steam Holiday Sales
Have you noticed the Steam Summer/Winter sales constantly feature the same games on the front page year after year? We let you easily filter by year, discount, and rating, blocking unwanted items with a single click.
No Censorship
Uncensored tags
Steam reviews are becoming a closed and heavily moderated system. There are only ~300 tags shown to the general public, with anything they think is problematic for sales (like "Mobile port") vanishing from public view.
Full Steam game list
Steam hides store pages if there are copyright or other disputes surrounding the game (which is more frequent than you might realize), preventing you from curating these titles. We unhide and allow you to comment on them!
Stable platform
Over the past few years of Steam curation I've had hundreds of reviews just vanish without notification, and it often takes weeks for Steam Support to restore them. The 3rd time it happened was during a holiday sale, making my reviews useless for subscribers while the games were deeply discounted!
Convenience
Easy import
Import your game library and friends directly from Steam in one click!
Easy filtering
Steam "deal" sites focus on prices, not on helping you find the game you really want before you look for a good price! Take our search page for a test drive!
Good games
Our goal is to help you find the best games for you, supporting good devs whether they're huge studios or nimble indies. We don't play favorites for the big money publishers.
